The English noun people (singular "person") refers to a plurality of human beings. It has two usages:

Q. Why are people in general more kinder to attractive people and meaner to less attractive people? For people who are mean to overweight people, some people are naturally big-boned and even if they loose weight they won't be skinny. (ex - Beyonce, I doubt if she lost a lot of weight she would a size 0) Will attractive people be treated better than most people most of their life?
