What do women in the Philippines think about dating an American born Filipino Men?
Q. What do women in the Philippines think about dating an American born Filipino Men? I've heard that women in the Philippines like American men but what about the ones that are Filipino. I think that they would like us because we are Americanized, but at the same time have the same cultural values. But is it difficult to relate to another Filipino who doesn't even know how to speak tagalog? I like the girls in the Philippines because of their natural beauty and how down to earth they are. Anyways, what do women in the Philippines think about dating an American born Filipino?

How safe is the Philippines for Russian Tourists? What are places to avoid? And where do you suggest I go?
Q. I'm going to the Philippines for 20 days. I imagined the Philippines as a paradise where one can walk everywhere without worries. But recently I have heard different stories about foreign nationals being murdered or kidnapped. I need some suggestions where me and my friends could go without having to worry much. We are aware of the usual Boracay and Bohol. They seem to be safe, based on reviews. But what about the rest of the Philippines?

A. abu sayyaf kidnappings (of aid workers & evangelists) are only in the areas where they operate, in isolated villages down in south-east muslim mindanao provinces where there aren't even much touristy things to do so you'd do best steering clear of those areas. that being said, there's practically no risk in all other parts of the country. if you want to go trekking, try batanes, vigan, sagada & baguio up north. for surfing, there's siargao, la union & all the surf spots facing the pacific ocean from north to south. for diving & beaches, it's all over the archipelago (note caveat above) enjoy! and for food treats, make sure you try the ff : 1. lechon 2. sisig 3. kinilaw / kilawin (seafood & fish ceviche) 4. sinuglaw (roast pork & fish… [cont.]
