How to get Affiliates for you business?
Q. Our business provides online car purchase services. Right now I have been asked to create an affiliate program where websites related to cars would be our affiliates. I can't find any such website. Additionally I have been asked to collect about 100 affiliates for our business. How can I achieve this without joining networks like LinkShare or Commision Junction? If you have the slightest idea please let me know.

Q. I recently became a Thinkhost affiliate, and sold a hosting account. It has been well over thirty days, and shows it is out of pending status and is due to be paid. Q. The Braves have 3 channels that they come on. They have FSN South, SportsSouth, and Peachtree TV. Their main station is SportsSouth, followed by Peachtree TV, FSN South is only for Sunday games. Don't include National Television stations. I've always wondered what SNY meant.

Why do minor league teams change affiliates?
Q. I remember a few years ago, Houston's minor league teams were the New Orleans Zephyrs for AAA, and Round Rock for AA. Now the Zephyrs are the AAA team for the Marlins, and Round Rock has moved up to AAA. I checked a couple of the minor league teams out, and this seems to happen a lot. Why is that?

After that, there are several other factors to consider - for example, the Dodgers recently ended their AAA agreement with Las Vegas and went back to Albuquerque. The Dodgers were disappointed in the environment at Cashman Field and in the franchise for doing nothing to improve an aging and failing stadium. Not to mention the stupid "Area 51s" name and goofy alien logo. It was something of an embarassment to the Dodgers, so off they went.
